We love a bargin and finidng 'treasures' here at Cyberlink Omokoroa, thats why we organise a Community Wide Mass Garage Sale every October and sometimes in March if the communtiy requests it!

We also have signs you can borrow - to make highlighting your event to the passing public easy. 2025 was another great year for the community wide garage sale and car boot. Lots of people from out of town and lots of happy faces commenting on the bargains they have found. Next year we are moving the date to the last Saturday in September. This year we messed up a bit and clashed with the Ngatea event. Hopefully it'll be fine weather for our event in September.

WHEN: It will be held on Saturday the 18th of October from 9:00am -1:00pm.
HOW MUCH: Entry fee is $10 which goes directly to the Ōmokoroa food bank. The entry fee covers advertising and free garage sale signs and a map. Please support our local food bank. $10 isn’t much.

The Garage Sale is held at YOUR place.
The Car Boot will be held at the Settlers Hall during the Ōmokoroa Market Day (to enter carboot, please communicate with [email protected], see more information and button below)
Cyberlink will advertise the event on all FB pages from Paeroa to Cambridge – Rotorua to Whakatane.
We will provide a map on the day with participating street names, but not house numbers to deter those early bird hunters. Just put your signs out on the day and people will find you. Last year was a great success, with people coming in from far and wide. So, if you have been thinking of having a clear out. This is the perfect opportunity.
